IDIOM INTERNET ASSIGNMENT

THIS IS A TWO PART, 50 POINT ASSIGNMENT - DUE

An idiom is an expression that has a meaning different from the meanings of its individual words.

For example: Just hanging around. Its literal meaning suggests that something is hanging.  We interpret it to mean that someone is lingering.  "Lost my head" does not mean a person has no head. We interpret it to mean a person did something unusual or behaved in an unusual manner (good or bad).

Unlike proverbs and similies, idioms have no fixed form and come in all sizes, shapes, and colors.
